Terms of Use

1. Who these terms are between

constellatedself (“the site”), previously called Astrochart, is operated by Quiet Reason (quietreason.ch) (“we”, “us”). These Terms of Use form the agreement between you and us for your use of the site. By creating an account, or by continuing to use the site after a new version takes effect, you agree to them.

2. You must be at least 16

The site is not for children. You confirm that you are 16 years of age or older. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will close it and delete the associated data.

3. What the readings are — and are not

constellatedself produces astrological, tarot and I Ching readings, generated with the help of AI language models. You agree that:

  • Readings are provided for personal reflection, entertainment and self-development only.
  • They are not professional advice of any kind, and in particular are not a substitute for therapy, counselling, psychiatric or medical care, legal advice, or financial advice.
  • They are not predictions of fact, and no outcome of any kind is promised or implied.
  • AI-generated text can be inaccurate, inconsistent or simply wrong, and readings are generated automatically without human review.
  • If you are distressed or in crisis, you should contact a qualified professional or your local emergency or crisis service rather than rely on a reading.

4. Your data and privacy

You agree to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms. In particular you agree that:

  • Birth details you enter (dates, times, places, names) are stored on our servers and are sent, together with your question, to our AI providers in order to generate the readings you request.
  • If you enter another person's birth details or personal information, you confirm that you have their permission to do so, and that you will not enter special-category data about anyone.
  • You will keep your account credentials confidential and are responsible for activity carried out under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the site only for its intended purpose — generating and reading your own charts and readings. You agree not to:

  • use the site, or any reading, to give professional, medical, psychological, legal or financial advice to other people;
  • use the site for any unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory or deceptive purpose;
  • attempt to access other users' data, probe or disrupt the service, bypass authentication, payment or usage limits, or exploit faults instead of reporting them;
  • scrape, resell, redistribute or systematically extract the site's content, prompts, artwork or readings, or use them to train other models;
  • use automated means to create accounts or generate readings at scale, or impersonate anyone.

6. Your use is your responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use the site and for any decision you take in reliance on a reading, and for any consequences that follow. The site and its readings are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its readings. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Tokens and payments

Readings are paid for with reading tokens bought in one-time bundles. Tokens do not expire but have no cash value outside the site and are not transferable. If a reading fails to generate, the token reserved for it is returned to your balance.

8. Account suspension and termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

We may suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, for any reason. If we do so:

  • readings you have already obtained will remain available to you, and you will be given a reasonable opportunity to download or export them; and
  • any unused reading tokens on your account will be refunded to you.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms are versioned. If we make a material change we will publish a new version, and you will be asked to review and accept it the next time you use the site. The version you accepted, and when you accepted it, are recorded on your account and shown on this page.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
